At Gentle Mental, we offer telephone and online (telehealth) counselling sessions that are person-centred, recognising that each client is the expert in their own life. Our sessions provide a gentle, entry-level approach to therapy, giving clients a positive experience as they take their first steps into the world of talk therapy and mental health support. As a counselling service, we do not diagnose, assess, or medicate — our focus is on practical, supportive guidance in a safe and non-judgmental space.
Ranging from 30 to 90 minutes and available weekly, fortnightly, or monthly, our sessions are tailored to each client. Moving away from short-term, generic approaches, we provide personalised support to increase self-awareness, highlight strengths, and build confidence, courage, and understanding. Our experienced counsellors can assist with anxiety, depression, bullying, low self-esteem, grief, trauma, social and relationship challenges, school or work stress, and other life difficulties.
